Birdie Nam Nam

Saturday I drank coffee at Funder and browsed through a bookstore (the food section of course) where i found a yummy cookbook 'A Piece of Cake' by Leila Lindholm. I like cheesecake a lot especially the petite ones from Eileens Cheesecake in New York, but when this book one day - hopefully - end up in my kitchen I'm going to bake a huge version like the one on the picture...

Finally I have finished my wristwarmers. I'm so proud because I haven't done any knitting in almost 20 years... they are great under my gloves, when I read or sit in front of the computer where my hands tend to get cold. This is definitely not my last knitting project.

This weekend will be great! I'm looking forward to go to Louisiana, eat out and read the new Frankie. Have a nice one everyone!

After a day of hard work in front of the computer a second breakfast at five o' clock, knitting and watching some crappy TV feels like a treat. By the way I'm knitting wrist warmers...

I have a small collection of birds. Somehow they appeal to me where ever I find them. This morning i convinced The Swan to go to La Photocabine - normally his favorite place to be is on one of the top shelves in the kitchen watching over me while I cook, and keeping small treasures in his stomach. I found him on a table outside a secondhandshop some time ago a little dirty and very cheap - but as you can see on the pictures he is in good shape now. Have a nice Friday everyone!
